Last blogged @ 11:26 PM  My baby tower... *muakies*  our tower... (labour of love) ^O^ hello dearies! Went for the Peer Support Leaders Training Programme today, had fun and learnt many useful things that i've benefited from the programme. Did the Ice-breakers for the first activity, you have to say an adjective infront of your name (ex: Silly Sharon). Ya, and Randall said Agnes should say 'Asshole Agnes'... Hahaha, the Randall arhs, kept on pestering and go play with Agnes. Time flies and had some food, ate two spring rolls, two curry puff and one roti john. Ate alot luh, so i dont feel like eating now. Built the tower, it was fun. We used newspapers, two straws, some strings to make a tower. And i gave the most ideas luh, because i dunno why i know how to do it. Okay, maybe i should be an engineer next time uh? *grins* Completed our tower in 15mins and we built the tallest and the most stable tower. So we won the competition, i knew we would be the best. *yeah* It looks like the normal students have better brains than the express huh? Some ppl dont even know how to spell active, determined and efficient... (express ppl) It's just my opinion luh, dont really take it to heart. Other groups also did well uh, some (Avery and ppl) did the 2in1 tower, you can play game and also can hit ppl derh. *haha* Learnt some useful tips and which i would like to share with you guys... 10 tips for a successful group : 1) Be prepared. Make sure the materials are ready before each activity. Think about the activity, its purpose and encourage group members to participate. 2) When the activity ask participants to form small groups, do it quickly and quietly. 3) Read the instructions carefully. 4) Help everyone to participate. Dont let anyone pass, sit and say or do nothing. 5) Ask group members for responses first before you share yours. 6) Dont be bossy, group activities should be interesting and everyone should enjoy him/herself. 7) Remind group members of rules and encourage them to listen. 8) Be interested in and enthusiastic about what you do. 9) If you have a problem with your group and you are not sure what to do, talk it over with the Peer Support Co-Ordinator. 10) Have fun and make new friends |
